Site Migration
Savour Partnership ran on Squarespace 7.0, a version being left behind. Moving to 7.1 sounds simple until you learn there is no native migration path for blog content.
Squarespace offers no direct 7.0 to 7.1 blog migration. The export format breaks on import, posts lose formatting, images detach, and the standard advice is to rebuild everything by hand. With 134 posts, manual rebuilding was not an option.
The content had to arrive with formatting, images, and URL structure preserved, because years of SEO equity lived in those posts.
All 134 posts arrived in 7.1 cleanly on a migration path the platform itself does not support. The client kept her content history and her SEO equity, and the referral came from another happy client, which is its own kind of proof.
